Wines
Are these your own stocks?
Yes. All stocks are our own and immediately available in Hong Kong. We do not engage in any broking.
What's the provenance of your wines?
Most of our wines are sourced from reputable European suppliers, while a small portion is sourced from the US. Our team carefully inspects all incoming bottles so that you can have peace of mind when buying from us.
Can I buy just 1 bottle from the OWC?
OWC refers to original wooden case and we will only sell them as such - by the case. While some may be banded and unopened, those that are not are likely to have been previously opened either by customs officials or by us for inspection.
Do you have a store or showroom where your wines can be seen?
No - we engage almost exclusively in online trading. All wines are professionally stored in our cellar. We divulge the condition of the wines in photos.
What is a wine rating?
When search results are returned from our product catalog you may notice a number preceded by an abbreviation (e.g. RP95, CT93). These are the rating scores (out of 100) given by various professional tasters, reviewers, or wine publications/websites. The full list of ratings we were able to find for that vintage and the full name of raters is available if you visit the specific info page for that vintage. The single rating you see in the search results is the highest one among these due to space limitation. Rating wine is very subjective and open to individual interpretation, so you should use these as a guide only. Many raters give multiple ratings to a wine over the years, so although we try our best to keep these ratings updated, you may find some discrepencies.
Payment
Can I pay by credit card?
We accept bank transfer/FPS/Visa/Mastercard/Wechatpay/Alipay. A 3% charges apply to credit card and 1% charges apply to wechat/alipay on all products.
Do you accept cash/cheque on delivery?
No. We accept bank transfer and credit card (limit up to HK$50,000 per month). We also take cheque but the delivery schedule will be delayed for 1-2 work days.
Can you offer me a discount?
All wines are always sold at listed price.
Can you reserve a bottle for me?
Due to the large number of enquiries we receive daily, we are unable to perform any kind of holding and all bottles are first come first served. Title to all wines remain with Vintage Grand Cru Limited until paid for in full.
Delivery
Is there same-day delivery?
If you require same-day delivery (Monday to Friday only) please contact us as early as possible and we will try to arrange. In the case that a driver is available, payment must be made before 12pm. Express delivery charges are $450 for Hong Kong Island and $350 for Kowloon and New Territories.
Events
Can I transfer my ticket to others if I am unable to attend?
Yes. Please email us at least 24 hours before the event so that we can prepare accordingly.
May I refund my ticket?
Tickets for events are non-refundable.
What happens if Typhoon Signal No. 8 or Black Rainstorm Warning is in force?
In case of severe weather conditions, we will contact you at least 4 hours before the event to let you know the further arrangements.
