International Shipping
Shipping is available for selected countries. Our courier partner is DHL and they offer very competitive rates due to our shipment volume. Transit time normally takes between 1-3 business days. However, this does not include custom clearance process, which varies from country to country.
Weather
Shipping during periods of extreme heat or cold can damage wines. For local Hong Kong deliveries, all wines undergo temperature controlled shipping. Unfortunately, for overseas deliveries, DHL is unable to provide such service. In order to reduce the likelihood of weather-related damage to your wine, we will advise against shipping on Thursdays or Fridays (except Thursday orders for overnight service), since carriers hold shipments over the weekends in their non-temperature controlled warehouses. Instead, we will offer to hold your wine at our cellar at no additional charge until the weather is suitable for shipping.
Custom Clearance
For overseas delivery, please kindly check with local authority on import regulation and tax rates. The amount you pay to us only covers the bottle value and delivery cost (exclude insurance). Any taxes, duties and transportation risk will be borne by your side. In the rare event that if you fail to pay the taxes or provide all the necessary documents before the clearance deadline, we will not be held responsible and the wines will be destroyed by destination customs. There will be no refund or exchange.
Calculation
Our bottles are packaged in Styrofoam boxes to ensure safe delivery. However, if the bottle shape is irregular, or if the order consists of different-sized items, we will use bubble wrap and other protective materials instead. DHL takes both weight and volume into account. In the table below, you will find the most cost-effective combination of bottle quantities for each purchase. For example, when you purchase 4 bottles, we will still pack them in a 6-bottle Styrofoam box, so the delivery cost will be charged for 6 bottles. It is more cost-effective to purchase 6 bottles at once. For Original Wooden Cases (OWCs) and magnums, the shipping cost will be charged at double the rate of 750ml bottles.
