Hakushu 12 is a very fruit and fresh whisky, all flavours are well-balanced. The nose is like some speyside whiskies such as glen grant 12 and glen elgin 12, but it's more balanced. The palate is neither more nor less,without any alcohol note. It's a well-done whisky, regardless of the high price. Nose Very fresh and aromatic.Vanilla ice cream,grassy,pear,lemon,green apple.Sticky honey.Some herbal spices.A little sandalwood,a hint of smoke. Taste Very smooth and mellow.Barley sugar, green tea,sweet and sandal wood spicy,mouth-coating. Herbal and a little dry. Finish Long and spicy.Sweet,the freshness is all along.A hint of smoke.
