At this point in time very young, with a healthy dose of tannin and structure, but so immaculately balanced and pure. Quite rough on opening, not releasing all too much in terms of aroma. 2 hours later it came around and was singing. Strawberry/raspberry mousse, creme de cassis, oak, violets and lilies with black tea, cherry and crushed rock. Very subtle and maybe a touch less hedonistic than the 2017'er, but this really caught and kept my attention. Brilliant.
