Deep yellow colour. Exciting nose of grilled nuts, honey and some peach. The palate had an effortless smoothness to it, dancing over the tongue. It showed very little fruit in the mouth - perhaps a little citrus - and something akin to concentrated mineral water with the Mersault minerality. Well balanced, good acidity, and nice finish with the minerals lingering on. Consumed alongside pan seared diver scallops on french toast with blackberry-annise coulis and mango chutney.
