Here the nose is moderately atypical with its array of white pepper, menthol, essence of pear and mineral reduction. There is outstanding volume to the stony and powerful larger-scaled flavors that possess a fleshy, even plump, mid-palate while delivering reasonable length on the vaguely sweet finale. As the description suggests, this is somewhat awkward today though it may better harmonize in time and my rating offers the benefit of the doubt that it will.
