The expressive nose is at once ripe but fresh with a trace of reduciton that is insufficient to materially mask the poached pear, white peach and floral scents. There is excellent richness, purity and volme to the discreetly mineral-driven middle weight flavors that culminate in a dry and sneaky long finish. This cannot be described as a classic Roulot Perrières but on the plus side it is unusually vibrant and saline in the context of what is typical at this point in the evolution of the 2009 vintage. For my taste this has arrived at its peak though I underscore that it could easily be held for up to another decade if that's your preference. I would add that I have experienced some bottle variation as my scores have varied between 92 and 94 points.
