A classic Coche nose combines hints of reduction and petrol with those of citrus, pear, floral and a whiff of toast. The citrus element carries over to the vibrant and delicious if almost delicate medium weight flavors that exude a fine bead of minerality on the beautifully complex, long and impeccably well-balanced finish. This is still very youthful and it wouldn't surprise me if this needed more than another 2 to 4 years to arrive at its peak. Lovely stuff and overall, this is a seriously impressive villages level wine.
