Stunningly beautiful nose offering a cornucopia of Vosne spice and exquisite red pinot fruit with flavors that offer good depth but are surprisingly supple. While the tannins are not completely resolved, this is certainly more advanced than I would have expected. No matter, this is still a terrific effort for the vintage and in particular, shows outstanding balance.
