Dark ruby; opaque. Browning slightly. Still has nice legs. Very lovely bouquet; sandalwood, sweet fruit, very feminine and pretty. Red fruit to the fore. In the mouth, it is a round, plump, sweet, fruity wine, with tannins completely resolved. This is drinking beautifully! Amazing for such an unheralded vintage. Almost no sign of decline, though it won't last but a few more years. Fantastic revelation. Only a slight drying on the finish.
