A fully mature and entirely secondary nose (but no sous-bois) reflects notes of a variety of spice elements, tea, rose petal and a whiff of volatile acidity. There is fine richness to the impressively scaled medium-bodied flavors that brim with minerality on the still powerful and ever-so-mildly austere finish. This has largely lost the robust quality that it once had as the tannins are slowly, but surely, resolving though with that said, they are still present. In sum, this is drinking as well now as it ever will though I underscore that even so, there is no rush to drink up. Multiple and largely consistent notes.
