Quite dark red in color, nose took an hour to fully open up, with red fruit, quite floral, quite spicy with red bell pepper. Palate well fruited, lush and rounded but not the ultimate in terms of complexity for a Auvenay Mazis. Still a wonderful burgundy with life ahead, still not very secondary.
