Tasting note: In contrast to the very curious 2011 (see herein), this showed much, much better and indeed was a mirror-image of the original review with its ripe, beautifully complex and expressive nose of pear, white flower, green apple and lemon rind that remains mostly if not completely primary. I like the richness of the intensely mineral-driven broad-shouldered flavors that possess excellent size and weight on the beautifully persistent, deep and lingering finale. There is a lovely sense of underlying tension that will make this a pleasure to drink for years to come In a word, lovely.
