Clearly there is a lot of diversity of opinion here, and I should disclose that I CV is one of my favorites among Grand Cru burgs. The bottles we were served from were in pristine condition, and I was impressed with the rich meaty flavor of the wine, layered on deep black fruit. Drink up if you are lucky enough to own some - it is unlikely to improve further, but is wonderful now.
