There is a leafy character to the secondary-suffused nose that reflects a note of something that isn't entirely clean, indeed it struck me as a hint of rot. Otherwise the sleek, well-delineated and nicely energetic middle weight flavors possess very good if not special depth and persistence on the mildly tangy finish. This is another one of those wines that somehow works in spite of itself because while it's not without an issue or two, I liked it anyway.
