A subtle touch of wood sets off the exuberantly spicy aromas of plum, cassis and violets. There is exceptionally good richness to the dense and quite powerful medium-bodied flavors that also coat the palate with dry extract while delivering impressive depth and length. This is not an especially elegant Vosne villages but it is certainly powerful and concentrated.
