This is one of those rare curiosities that I always find particularly interesting. I say this because the nose displays distinctly maderized notes yet it's interesting despite this normally offputting character. The flavors are punchy and still vibrant as they're underpinned by bright acidity and an almost pungent minerality plus they offer good persistency. When viewed from a strictly clinical perspective, the nose is flawed but I found this to be more than drinkable.
