Reticent, slightly austere nose of honey, citrus, minerals, smoke and white flowers followed by medium weight, beautifully textured flavors with excellent length. In the context of a classic Montrachet, this is definitely on the lighter end of the spectrum but I do admire the intensity, length and complexity it offers. This is quite closed and at this stage, somewhat austere though this may very well add weight with additional bottle age.
