A vague hint of secondary character floats in the background of the markedly floral-suffused nose of spice, Asian-style tea and airy red currant aromas. The mouthfeel of the medium-bodied flavors is positively gorgeous while maintaining excellent delineation on the slightly austere bitter cherry finish that delivers excellent length. This is extremely pretty and also very classy though it's not offering the superb depth it usually does. Whether that will develop with a few more years of cellaring is an open question.
