Having tried the 93 regular Dom it was really interesting to try the Oenotheque too. This is a fuller, darker, yeastier expression. The extra maturation time gave it a feel of an older champagne however on the palate it was full of life, full of vitality and energy. Good minerality, lots of yeasty elements lots of ripe citrus. A very good champagne albeit the extra maturation takes away a bit of the freshness the normal 93 Dom had and we would suggest one drinks the Oenotheque sooner than later while the regular can easily go for longer. 95 nonetheless!
