The best or one of the best bottlings from this distillery. The great thing about these high end Isle of Juras is that you can't smell any peat but when you taste it, the peat develops more and more power in your mouth. This bottling is nowadays almost impossible to find - I tasted it at the Lindores Whiskyfest 2009. Nose Curious. My first impression was household cleaning agent. Then there was a moldy smell which reminded me of old books. After some time fruits were coming up. Definitely has the famous old bottle flavor. Taste Powerful and very peaty. Salty and minerally. Some oak as well. Finish Very long, salty and peaty.
