Served double blind. I think this may well be the highest-scoring low-acid wine I've ever had. Lots of fruit on the nose; clearly ripe and dense and low in acid -- it didn't take very long to get to white Rhône. But I was impressed by the minerality and structure in this wine, even if the structure didn't come from acidity. Quite a bit of alcohol too, but it's held together really well. In a little bit of synesthesia, I really thought that this wine just felt chiseled and sculpted. Impressive.
