The nose is very closed, with just a touch of flint, white flowers and lemon, before developing a touch of petrol with aeration. Something tells me there is a lot more to offer on the nose once the wine is in bottle. The palate is slightly honeyed, well-balanced and quite extrovert in character. A little unctuous in the mouth with an intense, aromatic finish. Perhaps lacking a little class and refinement of the Genevrieres or Perrieres, but still a lovely Meursault that may have hidden charms
