A deft touch of wood sets off ripe and ever-so-mildly exotic aromas of peach, pear and a lovely spice element. There is good richness to the surprisingly forward and supple medium-bodied flavors that offer solid if not truly special depth and persistence. I was quite surprised at how approachable this was and it's a wine that could easily be enjoyed now. Tasted several times with consistent notes.
