This is still quite youthful and even somewhat reserved with lovely complexity and an underlying note of complexity that combines with still fresh if moderately austere medium full flavors underpinned by firm tannins and fine length. This is still somewhat unyielding and it's not 100% obvious that this will ever lose a certain finishing edge yet the overall balance is quite good if not perfect and this should eventually mature into an attractive bottle; that said, I doubt it will become a classic Drouhin Griotte, at least not by the very high standards this wine routinely achieves.
