Much like the 2015 we tried a few weeks ago (Papies 93) this is a fascinating wine through and through and easily gives the GdP red a run for its money too. Soft and smoky, a bit less of oak use than the 2015, citrus, more of a Chardonnay feel than the rhone blends as the barrel use is at this stage on the fore front. Green fruits, energetic, bright wine, soft on the edges, full of charm and elegance. Easy 92 for now and with upside in the future.
