This remains quite fresh in the context of this super ripe vintage and while there is some evidence of maturity, it's less than one might reasonably imagine for a 10 year old white. There is good purity to the complex yellow orchard aromas that precede the full-bodied, very ripe, round and overtly powerful flavors that culminate in an impressively long finish. This is really very good but no 2003 white burgundy completely escapes the influence of the vintage and for my taste, this is almost too much of a good thing. On the plus side there is flat out incredible intensity if limited finesse and while this is almost ready, I would allow it to cellar for another few years first though note that it will be capable of holding for years to come.
