The 2020 Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru Les Suchots reveals aromas of plums and cassis mingled with orange rind, spices and vanilla pod. It is medium to full-bodied, with a pretty core of fruit but rather assertive, stringy tannins. It may be the grandest appellation in Lachaux's négociant range, but it wasn't my favorite of the tasting.
