Medium plus red with orange rim, signature Leroy floral nose that is quite open but perhaps not the most flamboyant by Leroy standards. Very ripe dark red fruit which is very impressive in the context of the vintage. Medium plus palate with slight hint of tar dark cherries and pretty robust, medium finish. Pretty persistent and stayed in form for 3 hours, drinking well and perhaps peaked already.
