One of the finest whites of the vintage, from an assemblage of wines acquired from parcels located in both the Chassagne (2/3) and Puligny (1/3) sectors of the vineyard, Jadot’s 2003 Montrachet explodes from the glass with boisterous aromas of ripe pears and spiced apples. A bold, rich, medium to full-bodied effort, it reveals great concentration, depth of fruit, density, and length. Its almost chewy character, filled with white fruits, mineral, buttered toast, and spice, gives the impression of considerable extract.
