Clearly a mature wine, with a brickish color throughout. The nose was strong on tobacco and cedar. Even an hour after pouring the first glass the nose stayed true. Not much fruit left. In the mouth there was still some puckish tannin or acidity. No breaking up in the mouth at all. Good long but pleasant finish.
