Nose of black berry, pencil shavings, violets, allspice, iron, and hazelnuts, slightly floral, same on the palate, medium/big body, elegant, almost mouth filling fruit, fairly rich fruit, improved slightly as the lunch went on but not up to it's peer-Chateau Pichon Lalande today, nose better than the palate, not disappointing on the palate by any means, and a long, flavorful finish.
