4 hour slo ox, 1.5 hour decant. Alluring nose of mulberry and dark fruit, leather, smoke, oak, secondary notes and some teritary notes. Impenetrable black color. Medium to full bodied, tannins resolved, balanced,smooth mouthfeel. More of the nose on the palate with more power. Long finish. Beautiful wine. Wife and I shared with a friend who has advancing Parkinson's and his wiife. They have an extensive vertical of MR, their favorite wine (as well as d'Yquem). This bottle was from our cellar, was pristine and thoroughly enjoyed by all.
