Tasted blind, this wine had a deep red center with orange/tan rims. The medium intensity nose of black cherries and plum also offered a hint of oranges. In the mouth, this wine was medium bodied with light tannins and solid acidity. While a solid wine that seems to be in its drinking window, it seemed to lack the complexity one might expect from a grand cru.
