An interesting mix of perfumed and classic Meursault aromas, smoke and a curious hint of scented soap (no, it was not from the glass as they were meticulously checked before the tasting). The medium-bodied and beautifully well-detailed flavors exhibit really lovely intensity and good verve before culminating in a rich, round and delicious finish. There is ample mid-palate sap and outstanding depth and to my taste, this has arrived at its peak though it could certainly be held. Either way, this is a stunningly good villages. Tasted several times recently with largely consistent notes.
