Largely mature notes of honeysuckle, citrus and ripe pear scents are trimmed in soft but perceptible wood. There is good volume and verve to the attractively, even seductively, textured medium-weight flavors that possess solid intensity along with fine acid support on the strikingly persistent finish. In the classic mode of a fine Bienvenues-Bâtard-Montrachet, this isn't particularly powerful or concentrated but rather it is a wine of harmony and grace that is, like most 2011 whites, drinking perfectly now.
