A fully mature but still attractively fresh and beautifully layered nose features notes of honeysuckle, pear, white peach and white flowers that are trimmed in just enough wood to notice. There is really lovely richness, weight and volume to the almost creamy middle weight flavors that possess superb length on the impeccably well-balanced finale. This has definitely arrived at its peak though it should have no trouble holding there for another decade. Note that two bottles were opened and one of them displayed noticeable premature oxidation characters.
