Expressive bouquet of cedar, ripe black fruits and earthy notes on the nose. Layers of pencil shavings, black cherries and spices. Structure is somewhat lean, not your popular rich, sweet and cocoa cassis palate. Took more than an hour to open up. But once it is opened, it is well balanced from entry to finish which is firm and deep.
