Deep ruby turning to brick. Cedar, pine needles and forest floor bouquet with saddle leather and black fruit. The palate is more rounded than 3 years ago, no dustiness, tannins still present, but not as prevalent, and blackcurrant/cedar bouquet lasts through to the long, pleasurable finish. Drank after 2 hours decanting, this wine has improved over last three years, and is very attractive given the vintage.
