This is ever-so-slightly more elegant than the Latricières with a more expressive nose of ultra-pure, cool, complex and mineral-tinged floral, red currant, herbal tea and spice scents. There is really lovely intensity to the stony and energetic larger-scaled flavors that possess an attractive underlying tension on the textured and sophisticated finish that is shaped and supported by quite fine-grained tannins and very solid length. Like the Latricières this lacks the necessary depth to be at the next level though more may very well develop with time in bottle.
