This has been slumbering in my collection for almost 20 years. A mild pop on opening. Mature pinot noir depth, crushed strawberries, length, balance, some sweetness, not much acidity, minimal effervescence in the glass but tingling is still present on the palate, yellow-tinted hue but not oxidized. Had half the bottle as an aperitif before dinner, stoppered, and remainder was just as enjoyable a day later. Probably would have been better to have this a few years back, given the diminished effervescence of this bottle.
