On sight, the color is a beautiful golden hay, reminiscent of magic hour in the fields. On the nose, there is a generous scent of caramelized almonds, honey, spiced oak and buttered popcorn. The fruits are precise and range from citrus lemon, crisp golden apple, and succulent snow pear. On the palate, the wine is voluptuous yet light and refreshing. Joseph Drouhin adeptly provides concentration and finesse. The minerality is dominant and lingers on the palate like a cool slate. Even though it is ready to drink, it can still be aged for years to come.
