This is more elegant still with an expressive, perfumed, airy and highly complex nose of lilac, sandalwood, clove and anise that add breadth to the black cherry and red currant scents. There is a sophisticated mouth feel to the wonderfully refined and pure middle weight flavors where the supporting tannins are also dense but ultra-fine, all wrapped in a strikingly persistent finish. This is really very classy and should also age effortlessly. This is the best Arlot RSV since the 2005 and it's possible that in time it could even eclipse that magnificent effort.
