A bright ruby core with a tawny rim. A lovely nose of baked cherry, leather, vine tomato and a touch of fig. Good delineation with real warmth coming from the nose. The palate is very rich and grippy but the problem I find is that the fruits are slightly overripe whilst at the same time there is an incongruous vegetal quality just on the finish.
