Here too there is obvious wood but in this case it is better integrated if hardly invisible framing an attractive mix of red and black fruit aromas, earth and hints of spice that give way to rich, supple and delicious medium plus weight flavors that also display a touch of youthful austerity. There is a touch of dryness that I attribute to the recent bottling and my score offers the benefit of the doubt.
