As good an aged champagne original disgorgement can be really after circa 25 years + of being disgorged. The cork still came out with a small oomph, the colour was expectedly golden, tiny bubbles with lots of serenity to it, the nose with toasted macadamia nuts and beurre claire, on the palate following through with good acidity and beautiful radiant nuttiness, honey and toasted notes. For me a perfect bottle of P1 and this as P3 which I haven’t yet tasted should be immense indeed.
