Yellow gold colour, honey-like. Crushed dried herbs, gooseberry, ripe aged lemons. More citrus on the palate, lemons and lemon curd more dominant, Semillon lanolin and Sauvignon gooseberry zest also come through strongly. Flavours are very well knit, seamless, fine oak floats along underneath, a little creamy textured. The finish is very clean and smooth, fine acidity, a gentle but long resonance of ripe fruit and mineral zest. Delicious
