Made from fruit that was not destemmed in 2003. This is exceptionally ripe with roasted plum and background notes of prune followed by round, rich and supple flavors that manage to remain reasonably elegant and curiously, this is much riper on the nose than in the mouth. This is good if not better but frankly a bit of a let down relative to the other 3 wines in the range.
