An exuberantly fresh and overtly spicy nose is just beginning to show signs of maturity though the red berry fruit profile remains moderately primary. There is really lovely texture to the middleweight flavors that possess good if not special mid-palate density before culminating in a long if ever-so-mildly edgy, moderately austere and slightly lean finish. This very stylish effort is not a Musigny of seductive, but it is certainly classy and I like the depth. As to maturity, while this could easily be enjoyed now, I would be inclined to hold it for another 5 to 7 years first in the hopes that the supporting tannins will further mellow. I would further note that this would be best served with food.
