An exceptionally floral nose of cool and again admirably pure aromas is comprised of both red and dark berries, earth, truffle and discreet spice nuances. There is plenty of minerality to the intense, detailed and tautly muscular middle weight flavors that display a distinct leather component on the very firmly structured and moderately austere but gorgeously persistent finish. This too will need ample bottle age to soften the rigid tannic spine.
